Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for neonatal patients within a Level IV unit, supporting clinical operations across multiple units. The position requires flexibility to float between units and participate in a self-scheduling system.

Job Details

• Position Description: WNTR BLOCK 1ST TIMERS - LEVEL III NICU RN Req 10930. The role includes working nights, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/02/2026 and ending on 02/01/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the specified state or a compact license, at least 2 years of NICU experience (preferably Level III or higher), current BLS and NRP certifications, recent experience with neonatal patient care and procedures, and experience with Epic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center or similar environment, and experience with complex neonatal interventions.
• Additional Responsibilities: Administering blood products, managing ventilators and arterial lines, performing specialized neonatal procedures, and providing family education. Candidates should be able to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment, supporting patient and family needs.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, with weekends required (6 shifts in 6 weeks). Flexibility to float between units and work holidays is necessary.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to questions regarding previous experience at Providence facilities and provide two references covering one year within the last three years.
