Job Description Posted Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 5:00 AM Overview This team member will ensure the safety and tranquil stay of resort guests and employees, enforce policies and procedures, and record tasks. Prepare incident and accident reports accurately and as specified by the Director of Loss Prevention. Responsibilities Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and protect all hotel assets. Answer house calls to assist guests and associates with safety, security, and hotel operations. Initiate and follow up investigations of crimes committed against property and persons. Assist sick or injured guests or associates ensuring all documentation, reporting and witness statements are completed in a timely manner. Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to timely conclusion, and ensure appropriate follow‑up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts. Maintain accurate records while performing basic duties including camera monitoring, shift activity log, codebook, and employee/guest interactions. Monitor and distribute visitor and vendor access to the property by issuing visitor badges. Perform frequent bag checks for associates leaving the property. Escort and interact with special guests requiring privacy when entering or exiting the hotel through high‑traffic areas. Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive guest or associate issues. Assist supervisor or director in checking alarm systems, safety and fire alarm systems and monitoring security of building doors, service areas, delivery areas and grounds. Assist hotel management in emergency situations by knowing all hotel safety procedures and leading or directing guests and associates to safety. Record, report and correct any unsafe conditions while patrolling the property. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Qualifications Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Available for AM and PM shifts. Must be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, radio and reporting. Must have basic computer knowledge. Must be able to reach various areas of the hotel or resort at a rapid pace if necessary. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred. Must remain calm and professional during stressful situations. Must have a valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing. Must work a flexible schedule including day, evening, overnight shifts, weekends and holidays. Must obtain a valid Responsible Beverage Service certification from approved providers.
