• Shift: Nocturnist, 12-hour overnight shifts
• Hours/week: 40 hours
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Licensure/Certifications: Colorado Physician Assistant license, DEA, BLS, ACLS (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship highly preferred

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Schedule details provided separately)
• Salary Range: $136,822 – $179,379 annually (based on experience)
• Additional earnings: Up to $10,000 annually through QVIP bonus program
• Relocation assistance: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates

What You’ll Do

• Provide 24/7 trauma and acute care surgical services overnight
• Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgeries, and inpatient care
• Perform evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostics
• Assist trauma surgeons with procedures and operative support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting
• Document all care activities efficiently in Epic EMR
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
• Engage in professional development opportunities and leadership growth

What You Need

• Active Physician Assistant license in Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship
• Strong clinical skills in trauma, emergency, and surgical care
• Ability to work autonomously and handle complex cases effectively
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
