Relocation option available. Position Summary:The Clinical Psychologist will provide care to military members at the Defense Health Agency (DHA). DHA is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA uses the principles of Ready Reliable Care to advance high reliability practices across the Military Health System by improving our system operations, driving innovative solutions, and cultivating a culture of safety.Core Duties:Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American PsychologicalAssociation Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews,psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric AssociationDiagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgicalpatients deal with illnesses or injuries.Assist in rehabilitation of patientsRequirementsDegree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). Shall have an active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychiatrist in ANY of the 50 United States or its territories. Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the credentialing instruction. Must be a United States citizen.Final compensation will be based on relevant factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
